AICPA EBP Emerging Professional Workshop—Virtual Online
This AICPA is offering an online EBP Emerging Professionals Workshop as part of the May Employee Benefit Plans Conference on Sunday, May 2, from 2:00pm to 5:30pm ET. The workshop offers hands-on training in specific areas, professional development skills, building credibility, fostering relationships, and communication tips.
This part of the conference provides emerging employee benefit professionals tools to fit the variety of challenges they are exposed to in their professional day, from where to start planning, to adding value to colleagues, to the firm and the client needs along the way. Mentors who are experienced employee benefit professionals—leaders in the profession, representatives of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, and conference leaders—will each bring their own puzzle piece to fit a broad force perspective to complete the picture for this specialized practice area.
Those who attend will leave with a cadre of technical checklists and nontechnical but work-necessary lists of how to plan and organize projects, including the nuances that make some communications beneficial to clients and the firm.
NOTE: Because this program is designed to meet the needs of CPAs with 5 years or fewer years of experience with employee benefit plans, you are asked to submit a brief professional history/CV to lindsay.wood@aicpa-cima.com to verify that you qualify for the program. You will then be given a code to register for the program, which includes the pre-conference workshop and the main conference.
Pricing (Includes Workshop + Main Conference)
