Membership
Your annual membership dues are calculated based on your membership category, role, industry and work status. Locate your annual dues rate.
You may remit payment in one of the following ways:

- Via email to service@aicpa.org with the credit card type, account number and expiration date

Once your dues are renewed, you will immediately receive an automatic receipt to your primary email address on file. Please ensure that your email address on file is up to date before you renew your dues.

Account Updates
On the AICPA homepage, you can update your personal and professional information by clicking My Account and My Profile. Under your profile, you can update your name, contact information, employer information, skills, interests, and update your online and offline communications.
To unsubscribe to AICPA emails, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account through the AICPA homepage.
- Hover over My Account.
- Click My profile.
- Click Online Communications under SETTINGS.
- Click Unsubscribe at the top to unsubscribe from all the email communications or drill down to unsubscribe from specific mailings.
Once you've updated your account preferences, please allow up to 10 business days for these emails to cease.
To update your CPA license information, contact Member Service by email at service@aicpa.org or by phone at 888.777.7077, 9am-6pm ET, Monday-Friday.
To update your employer status to retired, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account through the AICPA homepage.
- Hover over My Account.
- Click My profile.
- Click Employer Information.
- Click I have retired and work under 20 hours per week.
Please note, if you have not yet met the full retirement age as defined by the Social Security Administration (SSA), you can select I have temporarily left the workforce and unemployed as a place holder. This will need to be updated annually until you reach full retirement age.
Regular and all Associate member types may qualify for Temporarily Left the Workforce (TLW), status if (s)he is:
- Currently unemployed
- Currently providing full-time care to a loved one without compensation
- Not currently working due to temporary illness or disability
- Currently a full-time student and works fewer than 26 hours per week
Members who work part time will not be eligible for TLW unless the part-time work status is due to one of the reasons above.
If you meet these requirements, you can update your TLW status with the following steps:
- Log in to your account through the AICPA homepage.
- Hover over My Account.
- Click My profile.
- Click Employer Information.
- Click I have temporarily left the workforce and the requirement you meet below.
Once your preferred mailing address is updated, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for all mailing lists to be updated. If you continue to receive mailings to your old address after six weeks, contact Member Service by email at service@aicpa.org or by phone at 888.777.7077, 9am-6pm ET, Monday-Friday.
