In consideration of the ECA forgoing further investigation of his alleged misconduct, Ms. Bonenfant entered into a settlement agreement under the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program effective February 28, 2024. Under the settlement agreement, Ms. Bonenfant was admonished by the AICPA pursuant to an order issued by the Florida Board of Accountancy (board) related to her failure to comply with the board’s continuing professional education requirements for the July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021 re-establishment period.
