Under the automatic disciplinary provisions of the Institute’s bylaws, Mr. Adams’ AICPA membership was suspended for two years, retroactive to August 8, 2023, the date of the PCAOB’s disciplinary action. This action is based on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s Release No. 105-2023-019. Details regarding the PCAOB’s disciplinary action can be found on the PCAOB’s website.
