As a result of a decision of a hearing panel of the Joint Trial Board, Mr. Strohl’s AICPA membership was suspended for a period of two years effective September 16, 2022. Mr. Strohl was found guilty of violating the “Acts Discreditable Rule” (1.400.001) and the “Advertising and Other Forms of Solicitation Rule” (1.600.001) of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. Mr. Strohl was also directed to complete 16 hours of specific continuing professional education.
