2018 Business Valuation Challenge

The FVS Section is supporting the 6th annual Business Valuation Challenge hosted by Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business and Department of Finance. Founded and developed by Professor Herbert Kierulff, the Challenge is an undergraduate and graduate student competition where a team of students must value a privately held entity. In honor of Dr. Kierulff’s work, the “Kierulff Cup” trophy will be awarded to the first-place team. Substantial cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.

The FVS Section will do its best to ensure that each team participating has a local, professional, industry mentor such as an ABV Champion. We will also provide judges and speakers for the competition, which will be held at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business' state of the art facilities in Atlanta on November 17, 2018 with a welcome dinner and keynote speaker at the Buckhead Club the night before.
